My name is Dave I am from Upstate New York.
I am not really a knitter although I did a little crocheting on rainy summer days I spent with my Grandmother Annis.
I cherish the time we spent together over many summers and school vacations growing up. Now I am here to help keep this forum organized and hopefully people who want to talk about their passion of Knitting and hand made things will feel right at home here in a family atmosphere. We will have the ability to post pictures of your current projects soon and anyone is welcome to stop by as time permits just to say hi to each other.

Good day to all knitters. It is Super Bowl day and I will knit! I am from the state of Maryland and visit my daughter in Minerva. I saw the ad for Annis's in the local paper. I want to visit in person my next visit north. I have been knitting a long while. I am a woolaholic. Elizabeth Zimmerman helped me to become the addicted to the art of knitting. I am curently doing well in reducing my stash...I knit short scarves as gifts for the local breast cancer group and others. Knitting in publilc is a conversation starter!
